Brandon (he/him) is the creator & operator of Dark Forest Botanica & the co-owner of the acclaimed specialist store Elfhame. He is a Wildwood Witchcraft initiate & teacher, Reclaiming witch, & folkloric witch who focuses on community stewardship & care, magical relating, & sorcerous development. Brandon's teachers have been/are Xander Hunter, Fio Gede Parma, Justin Ray Stanley, Ri Kallady, the Wildwood Tradition & community at large, the Godds named Apollo & Hekate, the spirits of place & plant allies he is in relationship with, his ancestors.

Brandon has been a professional Tarot and palm-reader for 13years and has worked in and out of occult and metaphysical stores since 2011. He lives with his beloved partner in unceded Wurundjeri Country in the beautiful, sacred hills surrounding Naarm. Brandon has studied western herbal medicine and health sciences for years and applies a braid of bodies of knowledge together to help support and serve the people who seek him out. Brandon loves nothing more than to invest sacred time and energy into his Craft and Community, enjoying the pleasure and play of life's seasons, and honouring the connections that join us together.

Ri (he/him) is the founder & one of the owner of Elfhame. He has been practicing Witchcraft for over 26 years, walking the path & being steeped in traditional & animistic currents, practicing a form of Cornish folk-magic, Ri specialises in providing consultations & spell-work for clients. Crafting traditional charms & talismans, mixing incense & powders & brewing ritual oils & washes. Like many, Ri began his journey in Witchcraft at a young age, finding witchcraft through his love for history, mythology & folklore. Being drawn to the magic of traditional customs & the expression of the craft through crafting & creating.

Ri is also a Vodouisant & initiate of Haitian Vodou, serving his escort of Lwa & being a proud member of Hounfo Racine Deesse Dereyale.     

In Ri’s mundane life, his background is in the Beauty Industry. Previously the owner of three hair & beauty salons, as well as training & education for some of Melbourne leading RTO's.
